Pray Like Paul

A number of years ago, I woke up in the night and was praying and said, "Lord, I'm doing everything I know to get closer to you. I don't know what else to do to draw even closer to you." Right as I said that, I heard the Lord say to me, "Pray the prayers of Paul." Like a lot of things, you hear from the Lord and initially get very excited, but eventually it fizzles out. I studied them a lot those years ago, but I haven't kept up with praying them personally like I should have until last year, when I began inserting them into my calendar to remind me each day to pray a specific prayer. Tonight, I want to go through a selection of Paul's prayers in a quantity that is digestible to you all. I believe that just as the Lord told me to pray them to take that next step to draw closer, if you pray them personally you will also find yourself feeling nearer to God's presence.
