Why Missions?

Most of you know that the second Sunday of the month at Good News Church is centered around missions. Whether a global or local ministry, our goal is always that the resources being given into this church do not end here but instead flow out as a blessing to other ministries who also seek to bring the world to Christ. In particular, I'd like to focus on this global ministries aspect. Global ministries have always been something that meant a lot to me. When I was a young child, I saw what I believe was a vision in my bedroom of God's hand holding the globe of the earth. God has love for everyone on earth, but he calls us to go and be messengers of the good news of the gospel. Yet as Jesus observed, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few."
