Did you know that the Bible teaches that there’s a parallel between the refining of our faith and the refining process of gold? Just as fire will cause gold to be refined, so our faith can be refined and purified during the trials of life. Simply put, gold that’s been through the fire is of more value than gold that has never faced the furnace.
