The Value of the Anointing

I’d like to share some things with you that have been going on in my spirit as I have been going through the book of 1 Samuel. I had it on my heart to teach on it several months ago, and since then we have been able to read valuable biblical insights relating to the value of obedience and honoring God. Time and time again in this book, we read that the open secret of having the anointing of the Lord on one’s life comes down to how obedient we are to God’s commands for us. It is this essential rule that explains why Saul and David’s kingdoms played out so much differently.
