The Rise & Fall of King Saul

Today I'd like to continue our discussion of 1 Samuel in chapter 13. This passage outlines of the final breaking points with King Saul and his losing of God's favor over his life. Because of his own impatience and lack of humility, he time and time again made the wrong decision. Eventually, God's favor left his life, and moved to a young man named David. It is a solemn story and a reminder that God's blessing over us can only remain so long as we are staying out of sin and Satan's control.
