Hope for the Future

Let's go to John 16. The last two months for me have involved much more praying than usual from me for the state of our nation and the world. The advantage of a new year is that it allows you the chance to reboot and consider what you plan to do over the next year ahead. There's a statement I like that says "Things will never be different unless you do things differently," and similarly, with a new year comes the chance to focus on new areas with your prayer to bring about and be ready for positive change. God many times has put in my heart the message "Change is coming." In life, you have to realize that the Holy Spirit can give you knowledge of the future and hope for it. I believe that even in the midst of storms, there is hope in the future for believers.
