Pray for One Another

After a great Wednesday night service this past week, as I was leaving I noticed that there were people praying together in groups throughout the sanctuary. I thought to myself, what a beautiful sight it is to see people praying for one another. I feel this is the vision that Jesus had in mind for the church, a place where believers can pray with one another. I then thought of the many "one another" phrases of the Bible, phrases like "love one another" or "be at peace with one another." I feel that a biblical phrase we should all take to heart is God's call for us to "pray for one another." Spiritual strength and unity in the body will be built up when Christians take the time to pray for each other.
