Build a Memorial

It has been on my heart to talk about Joshua 4. This passage of scripture describes several memorials being built for the Lord, comprising part of an eventual seven memorials. The purpose of these memorials, in biblical times as now, is to help us remember what has passed. In the case of biblical memorials, the purpose was to remind one of God's miracles and faithfulness, especially for the next generations who were not there to witness it. In our lives we will have the opportunity often to remember what God has done for us.
